'WORDS OF HEALING'

In early 2022 we had the pleasure of working with writer and director Mark Perrett and actress Rachel Chima on the beautiful 'Words of Healing'. It has been long selected for the National Youth Film Awards and is an official selection for the Jazzies with more to be announced.

In Summer 2022, Mark Perrett got back in touch with us to make his second short film 'Double Deceit' with Gurdev Sohal. With a much different mood we looked forward to working with Mark again and it was released Autumn 2022.

'rule 3'
DIRECTED BY LOUIS LAMPARD
In collaboration with Forgotten Birthday Films, we worked on 'Rule 3' in Tywyn, Wales. The cinematography was done by Joel and Harry was the First Assistant Directer with Kirsty as the set designer and sound recordist. It tells the story of one significant night of the lives of hand-pollinators in a world where bees are thought to be extinct. It is currently in post-production, being edited by Harry.
joel's projects
As a founding member of production company 'Forgotten Birthday Films', Joel frequently collaborates with his fellow filmmakers to create films they are passionate about. Released in 2022, 'Whitsun' received great acclaim for its beautiful storytelling and, thanks to Joel, its stunning cinematography.
Another production by Forgotten Birthday which released in early 2022; 'Mannequin' is a surreal story about grief and the profound impact it can have on people.
'Cross Thoughts' was released in 2021 and is a neo-noir story of those that we love and what we will do to understand them deeper. The lighting and cinematography is a real testament to Joel's talent.
HARRY's projects
Harry had the opportunity to work with writer-director Connor O'Hara on the beautiful 'Kindling', a story of a group of friends trying to have the best summer ever as one approaches the end of his life.
As an editor, Harry has found great success among the Essex filmmaking community, working with director James Wilsher on this project, 'Waiting for Gateau'; a story of two odd balls discussing life as they wait for cake.
Harry had the incredible opportunity to work on Sky TV series 'Breeders' as a stand-in for one of the main characters, Luke. It gave him a massive amount of experience on a professional set and he learnt a great deal about the behind-the-scenes world while playing a lot of table tennis.
'The Grim Hollow' is the first episode of the miniseries 'Archive of Wonder', an anthology of short fantastical stories directed by Harry. It stars James Bryan as a writer trapped between the realms of fiction and reality.
Below are some photos taken by Harry for the running clothing company FINN. with creative director, Nathan Sayers. Working in a London studio, it was an amazing opportunity to show off his photography skills.
